Lookout, The
Lookout, The (2007)

IMDB rating: 7.40

Plot: An admired high school hockey player (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) with a bright future foolishly takes a drive in the night with his girl friend and two other friends with his headlights off with devastating results. The former athlete is left with a brain injury that prevents him from remembering many things for extended periods of time. To compensate, he keeps notes in a small notebook to aid him in remembering what he is to do. He also lives with a blind friend (Jeff Daniels) who aids him. Obviously, with the mental incapacitation, he is unable to have meaningful work. Thus he works as a night cleaning man in a bank. It is there he comes under the scrutiny of a gang planning to rob the bank. The leader (Matthew Goode) befriends him and gets him involved with a young woman (Isla Fisher) who further reels him in. After they get close and after reeling him in with his own failures, the bank plan unfolds. Confused but wanting to escape his current existence, he initially goes along with the scheme. After realizing he is being used, he attempts to stop the robbery, which of course immediately goes awry. Bruce McGill and Alberta Watson also co-star as the young man’s parents, who still search for the person that was there before the tragic crash.

Best Weapon in Fallout 3 + All DLCs?
Yes hello,
I recently completed The Pitt DLC, and after getting the 100 steel ingots (that was a pain!). I got the Tribal Power armor, and Metal Blaster. Cool! Right? Nope!
You see, after that I went to Point Lookout and most Tribe people were too strong for my blaster (even though I kept it at 100% condition).
SO NOW, I’m on an unmarked quest to find the best weapon (by the way guys, please don’t go saying get the MiRV, since the Nukes are sparse enough already. I want a reliable weapon with which to go and hunt some mutant overlords). I would prefer a Small or Energy weapon since thats what I specialized in.

Oh and the site tried to put this in the Police & Government >Military section. LoL! Although I guess it makes sense… kinda…

The A3-21 Plasma Gun from Harkness in Rivet City is pretty powerful. It can be obtained in "the Replicated Man" which you reveal the truth to Harkness, but decide to keep it a secret. It also better than the Alien blaster as the alien ammo is very limited.

Jersey Rebel | Feb 09, 2010

The Energy/plasma rifle. High damage, tons of VATS actions and the insane pleasure of watching your enemies turn into piles of glowing green goo. Nuff said.
Kruemelbaer | Feb 09, 2010

The Firelance, you get it on a random event. This is how I got it easily.
Travel to Casey Smith’s garage. Enter the garage. Exit the garage. You will now be facing east. Turn around and facing almost directly West and just ever so slightly North. Now travel in this direction for approximately 30-40 seconds and you will arrive at the Rockopolis entrance and a "random encounter will be in front of the entrance. If you did not get the UFO exploding over your head encounter simply reload your auto save after leaving the garage and travel there again. Eventually the encounter will occur.
Here are some locations if you need more ammo for this gun.

I use the destabilizer from mothership zeta. Its fun.
THA | Feb 09, 2010

The Alien Blaster or the Firelance (the unique alien blaster that shoots fire) are probably the two strongest ones you can do - ammo is sparce though.

You could also try to do the Alien spaceship - the atomizer is a great 1hd blaster that has a very low AP cost to shoot - my twinked character could get 15 head shots off easily with all the AP gear I wore.

what platform are you playing this on?
i have fallout3+ for pc and i just use the console to give me random weapons. i know its cheating, but i find it fun.

What do you think of this text? Typos aside - not a native speaker?
Father Riley, the confessor of the monastery was looking out of the narrow window, his warm, blue eyes filled with sorrow as he was listening the discussion taking place in the old and Spartan decorated room.

"It is my conclusion that sister Dolores is suffering from a very peculiar form of schizophrenia. She seems convinced that she is being visited by night by this demonic entity she calls Yasir. I would recommend getting professional help", Mr. Gonzales, the psychiatrist they had sent for concluded.

"And what exactly do you mean professional help", Mother Superior cut in.

"It’s been almost a month, now, and she is getting more and more hysterical. You should know that, as days go by, her situation is getting worse. If I had known at the right time." the psychiatrist’s eyes fixed themselves accusatory on the priest’s back.

The priest felt the gaze and with a sigh turned around, pulling off his round glasses.

"You know that I have sworn to keep the secrecy of everything I hear in the confessional.", he replied softly.

Mr. Gonzales fought the urge to jump off the chair and yell. The poor girl had had to go hysterical during the mass for him to be called, and, when Mother Superior had asked for him professional help, the sickness had already began engulfing her. Taking deep breaths to calm himself, he added in a tone laced with sarcasm:

"And you are not convinced she is having hallucinations either."

"My son, in my world, what often seems impossible is not. Blind people see, deaf hear, and dead people resurrect through the sheer will of our Lord."

"I am a good Christian, father," the psychiatrist brutally cut in," and I do not dare to question the miracles. But now, in this century.I find it hard to believe that something akin to miracle is happening. A daemon at night visiting a nun ..excuse me for saying so, Mother Superior, but this girl must be having only the natural urges. I am even surprised she hadn’t experienced them so far. She is only 21, it is only normal for her to have erotic dreams, even if she is currently a nun. One cannot escape nature."

"I wish that were true", Mother Superior spoke, a tinge of regret in her voice, "That would have been a fortunate case. You see, doctor, nobody ever forced her to remain here. Never. But we are the only family she has ever had, and I know she loves us dearly, for we too love her. Dolores is the younger of us, and unfortunately, we could offer her little of the youth’s joys. I have taken her to the town a few times, but she is as skittish as a mare, especially when it comes to men. I must confess I feel guilty about it, for I have a feeling she does not belong in a monastery. I would have loved if she were to get a family of her own, yet, unfortunately, it seems that we have not prepared her enough for the outer world." She finished in a gentle voice.

"Yes, we have discussed these things before, and, once again we don’t seem to come to a mutual conclusion. I have discusses to my superiors and we have decided to move her into a Mental Institution!"

"You can’t do that!" the father’s voice was angry. "She is not crazy! Putting her in there will only make things worse!"

"She thinks she has sex with a daemon! Really, father, I can’t believe you actually think she’s telling the truth. We followed her, remember? We followed her for a week, day and night and nothing out of the ordinary has happened!"

"I must say I agree with father Riley on this matter. Dolores will remain here, and we shall look after her as well as we can. Taking her out of her home to forcibly move her to a mental facility will do nothing but further damage."

"I am truly sorry that you feel this way" the psychiatrist rummaged through his briefcase then stood up, handling a file to the Mother superior. "These are the papers, I have all the clearances I need. As I depart I shall take her with me to Madrid. You are, of course allowed to visit her every time."

"But.."

"I am sorry, but I will save this poor girl’s mind. I assure you that once I’m done, she will be a happy young woman.", he concluded. "Now, if you’ll excuse me, I must go and see what she is doing."

As the door closed with a low hiss behind him, Mother Superior spoke in a tired voice, rubbing her forehead:

"What have we done?"

I think it’s very interesting.

How does one get into the animation field?
I want to be able to create my own cartoons eventually. I love the unique worlds such as Cowboy Bebop, or Aeon Flux… and I want to know how to get a job like that.

I graduated from art college several years ago. AAC in the bayarea. If you don’t know anyone who’s in animation field, you can try to present your idea and art work to the teachers in art school. Most of teachers in my school are not professional educator but professional artist. Such as most teachers who is teaching animation may from the big film company. Some of them fly from LA to give us class everyweek.
I thought you may start from their if you go some good stuff. But if you really got some great stuff, be careful with who you deal with. We had sign the contract that all our works belong to school when we were. I have known there some teachers keep student’s idea become their own…

If you have the love and obviously talent you can!
Good animation takes countless time and effort.
Be consistant do not drift in to other things in that area
You can professionalize abything if you just keep on keeping on!

Goodluck, animation is good fun work
bringin life to a character is certainlya great feeling of giving birth.

Bridges of Madison County, The
Bridges of Madison County, The (1995)

IMDB rating: 7.00

Plot: The path of Francesca Johnson’s future seems destined when an unexpected fork in the road causes her to question everything she had come to expect from life. While her husband and children are away at the Iowa state fair in the Summer of 1965, Robert Kincaid happens upon the Johnson farm and asks Francesca for directions to Rosamunde Bridge. He explains that he is on assignment from National Geographic magazine to photograph the bridges of Madison County. She agrees to show him to the bridges and thus begins the bittersweet and all-too-brief romance of her life. Through the pain of separation from her secret love and the stark isolation she feels as the details of her life consume her, she writes down the story of this four-day love affair in a 3-volume diary. The diary is found by her children among her possessions and alongside Robert Kincaid’s possessions after Francesca is dead. The message they take from the diaries is one of hope that they will do what is necessary to find happiness in their lives — whatever is necessary. After learning that Robert Kincaid’s cremated remains were scattered off Rosamunde Bridge and that their mother requested a similar disposition for her own ashes, the children must decide whether to honor their mother’s final wishes or bury her alongside their father as the family had planned. Adapted from the novel by Robert Waller, this is the story of love that happens just once in a lifetime — if you’re lucky.

What is a good classic book?
I’ve recently tried immersing myself in reading classics, and now I’m trying to find a next amazing book to read. I know this sounds corny, but I was hoping for a book that includes romance as well. I’ve read Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, which I love, and I’m now reading through Agnes Grey, which I have no opinion yet, and Pride and Prejudice, which is quite enjoyable. I’ve found an interest towards the Bronte sisters, which I’d be happy to get a recommendation of. But I’m just looking for any good classic of any author, I’m in the mood for romance, but if you feel there’s a really good book no matter what, just tell me nonetheless :) I’ll try to be as open-minded as possible

The Count of Monet Cristo By Alexandre Dumas.

Warning: Do NOT pick this book up and start it if you have something that you need to do in the next day or three. You won’t be able to put the book down, or if you do, you’ll move zombielike through your everyday tasks while your mind stays with the adventures of Edmund Dantes.
The Count of Monte Cristo is a delicious book, full of intrigue, great fight scenes, love, passion, and witty social satire. Dumas has a wonderful grasp of human nature and a talent for rendering all the follies of man in delightful, snappy prose. I immediately recognized people that I know (yes, even myself) in his vivid characters, which made the book all the more engaging to me.

Some people might be put off by the size of the book — it’s a pretty hefty volume — an tempted to buy the abridged version. Don’t! I’ve heard from people who’ve read both versions that the abridged version is a pathetic, washed out shadow of the full novel. At any rate, as thick and impossibly long as The Count of Monte Cristo may seem when you open it for the first time, you’ll feel as though it’s far too short by the time you get to the last page.

Hope that Helps =)

how bout them apples?
Leadership is something that may not necessarily be tailor made for every person today.- Warren G. Bennis. A lot has to do with self-confidence and the ability to believe in themselves before they can motivate others and solicit their respect, good leaders also are able to communicate at all levels in a working organization. To guide and be good at it you have to have self confidence. In order to lead and motivate others you have to believe in what you think is right. do you think Martin Luther King Jr. believed that blacks should have the same equal rights as whites? Of course he did, he wanted to be able to sit the front of the bus and go to the same clean restrooms the whites did. for that reason people loved him and followed him. There are a chosen few who are able to lead with confidence and everything starts from a person on how he approaches each undertaking and how he can make everything function accordingly and achieve desired results, and Mr. King was one of them.
A good leader would usually have to do preliminary analysis and studies on his own judgment before handing out the various responsibilities and tasks. While ideas would usually stem from personal beliefs based on where they are exposed to, matching these inputs with proper references and practices in effect today is a good way to analyze potential execution of duties and then match them properly to identify its feasibility.
Respected leaders would know how to motivate and make people proactive. A lot has to do with first identifying their individual behaviors and how they would react to such approaches in given situations. Some have the patience in understanding and feel their way before their actual intent is carried out. It all has to do with being able to get everything to fall into place and implying towards the subordinates that importance of their contribution to the whole mix. Finally, good leaders are able to communicate at all levels in a working organization. To be able to communicate effectively with people on various levels of an organization, starting from the rank and file towards the upper management positions is a talent that people would rarely value. It all lies in the personality of a person, knowing when to enforce and knowing when to stoop down to needed levels for better understanding in the different communication channels. A good leader would solicit the respect and better understanding of people if he is able to divest towards the persons in their respective levels in the manner where they would understand the issues at hand.
Not all leaders are people who come from the higher part of a managing team. It has been said that managers are acclaimed leaders but this does not necessarily mean that they are effective and good leaders. A good leader does not necessarily need to have a high degree of education or mastery of a certain field. It all boils down to self-confidence and the ability to believe in themselves before they can motivate others and solicit their respect, good leaders also are able to communicate at all levels in a working organization.

Why did they give Jesus a last name when those days they had no last name, it was location?
Jesus of Nazareth

So what were the 12 disciples last names, we are not given them a last name but we call Jesus Christ after King Constantine Christ who made their books along side the Jews as they voted some in, made up their own words and rejected others like Barabbas?

I wasn’t aware that anyone gave Jesus a last name. He is as you stated called Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus Christ, the Christ, the Christ Child, our Lord and Savior, but no one to my knowledge has ever given him a last name. Christ is not considered His last name. Learn something before spouting more of your ignorance.

The books that the Nicene Council did not include in the bible were manuscripts that could not be authenticated. They did not change the words of the manuscripts that were included.
